Project from Maria Gubina: the design of a one-room apartment, "vests"

The project, presented by architect Maria Gubina, shows how you can turn one-room housing with an area of 41 sq. M. m. in a two-room apartment, designed for a young man.

This required a small redevelopment - combined living room and kitchen, and part of the area, separated by a wall, used for the bedroom. Such an apartment, with rooms opposite each other, is often called a “vest”, because its plan resembles a children's shirt. The interior is a combination of aesthetics of a loft and Scandinavian style, and the texture of concrete and brickwork gives the design a masculine character.

Seating area and workplace

The living area has a set of furniture for a comfortable stay - a sofa, table and dresser for various trifles. To view the video is a television panel with multi-channel acoustics. The interior is built on color contrasts that give it individuality: white and dark turquoise painting of the walls is perfectly combined with the flooring “under the tree” and the color of the doors “smoky oak”.

The corner of the room is a workplace with a table of interesting design, ergonomic chair, open shelves to accommodate folders and books. For lighting are ceiling directional lights.

Kitchen and dining areas

Adjacent to the living room is a kitchen area with a visual separation of the projecting part of the wall and a light floor covering. The working area is formed by a set with a combined design of the facades in the main colors of the apartment. The glossy facades of the lower tier, light tabletop, glass apron finish give the kitchen an elite look.

Furniture parallel layout contains high cabinets with built-in appliances and storage systems.

In the center there is a round table with a figured base and comfortable chairs. They form a dining area, accentuated by a chandelier-transformer accent color.

An interesting feature of the interior is a bar counter made of wood, integrated into the open doorway of the balcony with panoramic windows.

Bedroom

The bedroom furniture consists of a built-in wardrobe, an armchair and a bed with a high headboard, side panels and ... book shelves. Elements of a bright yellow color enliven the interior - a table, a clock, a pillow and a poster with a geometric pattern.
