A small standard apartment can turn into a very cozy studio apartment, the design of which will allow to take into account all the needs of the family living in it. The usual layout that divides the living space into several rooms and the kitchen, as a rule, is small, can no longer provide modern comfort, all the more so for those apartments that have small area, and at the same time serve as housing for two or more people. A tiny studio apartment, on 14 "squares" of which it was necessary to fit both the kitchen and the living room - a vivid example of the competent use of studio layout. In the interior of the hallway next to the door to the bathroom was placed a mini-dressing room, opposite it there is a kitchen furniture with a worktop and built-in appliances. The refrigerator was placed on the border with the living room - it serves as a separating element. In addition, between the kitchen entrance and living areas hung a curtain, allowing to make the room more intimate.
In the interior of the living room there was a place not only for a sofa bed, but also for a separate corner of rest, which at the same time serves as a dining area. It was necessary to abandon the standard furniture - this allowed us to save precious centimeters of space. All furniture was made “in place” and endowed with several functions at once.
The dining table turns over and goes down, taking up space between the soft armchairs - and the whole structure turns into a comfortable couch - an additional resting place or guest bed. Under the chairs are placed boxes for storing household items, in addition, there is a large drawer under the sofa and a wardrobe decorated with narrow mirrored stripes - they visually increase a small area of the room.
Gray and white are the main colors in the design of the studio, allowing to make the space bigger and lighter. They are harmoniously complemented by wooden details in natural wood color. Turquoise and lemon in textile details give the interior brightness and expressiveness.

Design project of a small studio apartment (area of 20 sq. M.)
The basis for interior design studio taken minimalism style. Immediately from the entrance begins the bulk storage system, which passes into the bedroom-living room in two separate tiers of shelves at the top and bottom, between which are embedded a TV area and a tabletop for the home office desk. Behind the bathroom room is a kitchen, separated from the hall by a private storage system with built-in work surface.
In the design of the studio apartment, the L-shaped arrangement of kitchen furniture makes it possible to allocate space for a small bar counter that serves as a dining area at the same time.
Near the window there is a living room that turns into a bedroom at night - a large sofa unfolds, forming a comfortable sleeping place for two.
The main idea of the project is a mirror movable partition separating the kitchen and the living room. Each of the three parts of this partition moves independently of the others, so the room and the kitchen can be divided partially or completely. The mirror surface visually almost doubles the space and complicates it due to the game of reflections, which brings depth and volume to the interior.

Design studio apartment in orange and white colors (area 22 sq. M.)
The main idea of the project was the "wall" separating the hallway and kitchen. From the entrance of the studio apartment is a wardrobe for clothes, arranged according to the coupe principle and fitted with mirrored doors, so as not to reduce the space. The front part of the “wall” is facing the sofa in the living room, so the TV panel found its place, which provides watching movies and TV shows.
The sofa for the night unfolds, it turns out to be a comfortable place to sleep. The window sill in the living room is replaced with a table top, which serves as a dining area and a home office desk.
On the other side of the "wall" facing the window, the kitchen is built into it - the work surface itself and the cabinets below and above it. They placed all the necessary equipment, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
From the "kitchen" - access to the balcony, turned into a lounge area. White color in the design of furniture and walls visually increases the volume of the room, and juicy yellow as an accent creates a joyful, sunny mood.

Design of a rectangular studio apartment with one window (area of 29 sq. M.)
Studio layout of a small area - 29 square meters. m. - initially it was very inconvenient: a narrow room, extended in length, had one window in the front wall, which excluded the division into two separate rooms. However, it was necessary to place both the living room and the cooking zone in the allocated space.
The hallway was traditionally planned - the bathroom is located opposite the spacious wardrobe-dressing room. Behind the entrance of the studio apartment there is a kitchen - the wardrobe-wardrobe continues with a kitchen storage system with integrated appliances, opposite which there is an angular work surface with a number of cabinets under it and closed shelves on top. The kitchen ends with a small bar counter - it is located exactly on the border with the living room.
The living room is small - a comfortable sofa and a TV panel on the wall opposite it. However, its presence is a big plus, as it allows you to watch TV without interfering with someone who has already gone to bed. There is a bedroom near the single window; it includes a double bed and a small console table that serves as a toilet. Next to him is a comfortable ottoman.
The main idea of the project is a partition separating the living room and the bedroom. It has round holes that allow daylight into the inside of the room. In addition to increasing the illumination, these holes add interesting light spots to the interior, creating a movement effect and softening the strict black and white minimalist design.

Design studio in the Scandinavian style (area 28 sq. M.)
The main idea of the design of a studio apartment is the use of white in combination with the natural color and texture of wood.
The unsuccessful L-shaped layout was visually balanced with the help of a column-column at the border of the kitchen and living areas, and the lack of natural lighting in the kitchen was compensated for by the internal lighting of the cabinets.
The combination of white walls, ceiling, furniture with warm wood floors, tabletops, a folding table and bar stools of the dining mini-zone located in the living room creates a bright, spacious interior, which is also very cozy.
Bright lilac textile elements - cushions and a carpet under the coffee table add colors to the interior.

One-room "Khrushchev" as a result of the demolition of the walls received an additional area. The big plus of the apartment was two windows - it allowed to create a bright, modern living space.
White and light gray shades - these are the main colors of the interior, which are organically complemented by the light texture of wood. As a bright color accents on the wall placed two posters in red and yellow.
The studio apartment has four zones - entrance, living room-bedroom, study and kitchen. They are separated visually by using different shades of the floor and walls.
One of the main ideas of the design of a studio apartment is the creation of a cozy interior, where you can comfortably rest and work, and there is enough space for storing household items. To do this, a large wardrobe of the “coupe” system was placed in the living room, which merges in color with the walls and is almost invisible to the eye. Above the work desk hung shelves for books, and the kitchen was equipped with two tiers of closed shelves.
Things “with history” - an old desk, a cast iron iron as a book rest and an old mirror - add a special mood to the interior associated with family memories, and the designer chairs at the dining table give the interior a modern feel.

The window in this small, custom-sized studio is smaller in height than regular windows. To correct this deficiency, the designers used two methods: the window itself was closed with vertical curtains-blinds “to the floor”, which allowed to hide its real size.
The lights were added using ceiling lights and an abundance of reflective surfaces in the design and interior - this is a glossy tile on the floor, and transparent plastic chairs at the bar counter, and a glossy finish of furniture fronts. In combination with the abundance of light sources such a technique has allowed to achieve a spectacular perception of the interior.
The designers turned the inconvenient projection in the room into a visually distinguished study.
The bedroom in the design of the studio apartment is separated from the remaining zones by a “wall”, which is a spacious storage system on the hallway side, in the living room are deep bookshelves, and on the side of the bedroom there are open niches, the lower one of which serves as a bedside table.

Traditional in style, this studio apartment takes into account all the needs of a small family. For two, it is very comfortable, despite its compact size. The beige and brown gamma of the finish gives the interior warmth and comfort.
There are no walls enclosing the rooms, but the sleeping place in the interior is hidden from the eyes in a niche formed by a spacious storage system from the entrance hall. The entrance to the niche is closed with a light, but dense curtain, providing an intimate atmosphere.
There was enough space for the dining area - a round table on the border of the living room and kitchen will allow you to comfortably accommodate three of them.

In this project, functional areas are divided not only visually, due to the difference in finishing materials. Additionally, they are separated in space at different levels, which complicates the perception of the interior and makes it more interesting. Each zone also has its own lighting.
Neutral tones of the interior allow you to keep a sense of open space and large volume.
The bedroom in the design of the studio is raised to the podium and is separated by a partition made of glass panels from the living room - in this way, a decorative panel on the wall of the bedroom is visually incorporated into the common space. On the podium, in addition to the bed, built a large wardrobe for clothes and various household things.
The living room sofa adjoins the bedroom closest to the back. The interior of the living room is located two comfortable jobs, over which are provided shelves for books.

The layout of the studio is quite traditional, there are all standard areas: entrance, living room, bedroom, kitchen.
Since the studio apartment belongs to a young family, the designers decided to experiment, and applied non-standard moves in the design and decoration. So, the wooden floor "rises" on the wall in the living room.
The kitchen and the living room in the design of the studio are shared by a high bar counter, at which it is convenient to receive guests.
The traditional chair was replaced with a soft ottoman chair, and graphic black accents were boldly added to the light interior: this is a curtain separating the bed from the rest of the room, and lamps, and furniture, and black intersecting lines on the external wall of the bathroom, going out to the living room, and in the hallway and in the kitchen.
Kitchen design in a studio apartment deserves separate consideration. It is compact, but roomy. From the living space of a studio apartment, it is visually separated by a bar and floor stand - here it is stoneware, unlike the wooden part in the living room.
Wall cabinets in the interior occupy only one of the walls, the other is left free - on it is fixed only a round hood, located above the hob. Loft is a style that allows even a small space to be decorated quite interesting and unusual, without losing functionality.
The outer wall, cleaned to the brickwork, was made the main decorative element of the interior and painted white, slightly darkening the joints and masonry defects. Visual zoning is realized through a contrasting floor covering, as well as by constructing an elevation of the bedroom level.
The kitchen and living room in the design of the studio apartment are combined and have access to the lounge area, arranged on the balcony. One of the living room walls is painted in dark gray, which gives the room depth, and in combination with white ceilings and light wood floor looks very impressive, at the same time without obscuring the room.
The bedroom in the interior is highlighted - it is raised to the podium and separated by sliding doors. The bedroom has a small dressing room and a closet for storing various things.
