Padded stool from the tires do it yourself

Today we look at how to make the original poof of a conventional car tire. Manufacturing padded stool from the bus with his own hands does not require large expenditures, and it can also be used as a coffee table or stool.

For the manufacture of padded stool from the bus with his own hands we will need:

  • new or used tire;
  • 2 circles from MDF 6 mm thick, with a diameter of 55 cm;
  • six screws;
  • perforator;
  • screwdriver;
  • glue gun or super glue;
  • screw cord 5 meters long, 10 mm thick;
  • cloth for cleaning tires;
  • scissors;
  • varnish;
  • brush.

Step 1.

Clean the tires of dirt with a dry cloth, if the tire is very dirty, wash it and let it dry.

Step 2.

Put 1 circle of MDF on the car tire and make 3 holes at the edges in 3 remote points so that the punch penetrates the rubber.

Step 3.

Using a screwdriver and screws, fasten the MDF to the tire. Do the same for each of the holes and repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 on the other side of the tire.

Step 4.

Using glue, secure one end of the cord to the center of the MDF circle.

Step 5.

Hold the hand, continue to glue the cord in a spiral, not forgetting to use the required amount of glue in front of each circle.

Step 6.

After you cover the entire MDF circle with a cord, do the same around the edges of the car tire.

Step 7.

Rotate the tire and continue to cover it with a cord until you reach the edge of the second circle of MDF.

Step 8.

After the cord has covered the entire surface of the tire, cut the rest of the rope with scissors and firmly fasten the end of the cord.

Step 9.

Apply varnish on the brush and cover the entire surface where the cord was used. Allow the varnish to dry completely.
